Maya Gorton (1975- )
Artist
Columbia College 1996

After a brief stint teaching English in Thailand, Maya Gorton returned to New York City and enrolled in the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. One of her student projects received a bronze medal from I.D. magazine, and she has continued to ride the wave of the future with creative endeavors that meld art and technology. She's not even 30 yet!
